The Captain has a new problem to solve. The window by the port side door is leaking & he can't figure out where it's coming from. This is the 1st leak we've had, even with all the rain we've had so far...gives him something to work on.
Once again quite a few boats left & more have come in. We've heard at least 8-10 boats call for spots & the marina is full for tonight so not sure where people will decide to go. There were 5 small boats that called earlier that said they'd had reservations since March - no room, so we heard Blind Channel calling other marinas around here to see if they had space...don't know what happened with those people. Also quite a few boats jockeying in the bay for fuel - only 1 boat at the fuel dock at a time.
Rod had crab bisque & rouladen & I had beet salad again & duck confit. We shared a bottle of BC merlot. We also shared a brownie & bourbon ice cream for dessert. While we were sitting in the restaurant, the fog moved from above the water down to sitting on the water. It was really beautiful to watch & there was lots of blue sky by the time we went back to the boat. We also saw a huge rainbow while we having dinner! The fog came back in around 9pm & was all around us.
